 1440 Capital is a partnership of experienced entrepreneurs and executives who build value by investing in both businesses and leaders.

Based in Toronto, Ontario, we combine decades of operational, technical, and leadership experience to accelerate performance in the organizations we acquire — and in the people who lead them.

We actively acquire well-run, profitable North American mid-market companies, including “orphan” divisions or brands from parent corporations. We understand the dynamics of business succession and take pride in preserving the legacy of founders while pursuing new opportunities for growth. With approximately $50 million of available capital and flexible investment structures, we move decisively and partner constructively.

In addition to acquisitions, 1440 Capital provides leadership and executive coaching services to CEOs and management teams. Using validated behavioral assessment tools — including DISC, 12 Driving Forces, and Emotional Intelligence — we help leaders gain the clarity, communication, and accountability required to scale their organizations.
